What is Campaign for a Healthy Nebraska?
Campaign for a Healthy Nebraska (C4HNE) is a political action committee formed by female physicians to help empower Nebraskans with a greater understanding of reproductive medicine. The goal of C4HNE is to protect unfettered access to all aspects of reproductive health care.
Who is behind Campaign for a Healthy Nebraska?
C4HNE was founded by a group of female physicians specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Concerned about the potential overturn of Roe vs. Wade, the doctors began a grassroots campaign to spread awareness about the dangerous impact an abortion ban would have on their patients. (Visit the “In the News” section of this web site to see some of their work). Our campaign has successfully engaged healthcare providers throughout the state and across various specialties. Together we will fight for the protection of reproductive rights with the goal of allowing patients to safely build a family if and when they choose.
Where do my contributions go?
The money raised by C4HNE will support political candidates who champion reproductive rights and will be used to educate Nebraskans about the long-reaching effects of this type of dangerous legislation. From its impact on contraception, fertility treatment and life-saving medical procedures, an abortion ban would be detrimental to child-bearing individuals and their loved ones.
